First, I flew from Miami to Denver and was driven to Colorado Springs to visit my son Jerry. Besides seeing him and his wife Heather (and their two cats Charly and Harly), the other highlights were
Second, I flew to Charlotte, NC, then to Nashville, then rented a car and drove to Florence, Alabama, to visit my grandson Gabe, who is now 18 and officially a man, his mother Sonya, and his stepfather Gregg (and their cats Leo, Luke, Ally and Abby). Other highlights were
Third, I drove from Florence to Nashville and caught a flight back to Miami. Because I had been fed so well wherever I went, I resolved to work out doubly hard to be in decent shape for the beginning of the fall semester next week. Highlights were
By the way, the Nashville airport was the only airport that had live musicians playing in the food courts, but I guess that city would have plenty of musicians.
